Femin Ethyl began in 2008 when cabinetmaker Els Vermeulen opened a small workshop off Kloosterstraat in Antwerp's design quarter. Today our team of six craftspeople build custom furniture for clients across Belgium, the Netherlands, and northern France.
We listen first. Every commission starts with how you live: morning routines, storage needs, and the architecture of your rooms. Sketches become technical drawings, then workshop prototypes when scale demands it.
Kloosterstraat's antique and design shops surround our atelier. That context keeps us honest about proportion, patina, and furniture that earns its place over decades.
